The real story that was based on is even funnier. They better get some AOC clones for the jury or they're going to lose this one. Someone putting this in an indictment has a severe lack of common sense.

"The FBI seized a "fully constructed" Lego set of the U.S. Capitol from the home of an alleged insurrectionist. Prosecutors detailed the finding in a court document for Robert Morss, who was arrested on June 11 at his home in Glenshaw, Pa. The government argued that Morss should be detained with no bail pending trial.

According to the court filing dated July 2, law enforcement recovered clothing and other items from Morss's home that match what he carried on Jan. 6. Among the items were a "'Don't Tread on Me' flag, a neck gaiter, a military utility bag, a black tourniquet, and military fatigues." In addition, "law enforcement also recovered a fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set," prosecutors wrote.

It's unclear why Morss had the Lego set. The Pittsburg Post-Gazette previously reported that Morss was a substitute social studies teacher.

Capitol Lego set seized from rioter still in box, not assembled

The US Capitol Lego set that federal authorities claimed to have recovered from an alleged rioter "fully constructed" was actually not assembled at all, according to new court papers. An assistant US attorney in DC clarified in a letter filed on Friday that all 1,000-plus pieces of the plastic model seized from Robert Morss were still loose in the box.

"Please note that after a review of the photographs from the search, there appears to have been a miscommunication and that statement appears to be inaccurate," prosecutors wrote. "The Lego set was in a box and not fully constructed at the time of the search, as pictured below," they added.

Somebody found some civil rights violations. Its hard trying to be a role model, especially when you're not.
