They didn't hesitate to charge Bush with a hate crime even though that guy was hearing voices. I'm not saying he belongs out on the street, but he killed those people because he's psycho not because he was a racist. He may have been a racist too, but that's not why he did it. Contrast that with all the murders by black criminals having clear racial motivations, who often end up being treated like muggings gone wrong.
