A dashboard to tell us how wrecked the LMPD and city is because of Fischer. A chief with not one original idea and telling us to increase our self initiated activity even though she is not gonna support us. A douchbag Major demoted for actually thinking he was so good he could use b.s. Words we all abhor. The mayor still using the same excuse that violent crime is everywhere in big cities while we have been overrun with it for the past 5 years since his policies took hold. A metro council doing nothing but letting him railroad them. Every person he has put in leadership positions has failed...Tarc, the chiefs, corrections, and he has a slew of people collecting checks from taxpayers who retired from the Conrad regime. Gibson, Sweeney and Jones to name a few. Now 3 million more a year for office of safe and healthy neighborhoods who even Christopher 2x sees as not good, because OSHN does nothing and the program will not work on hardened gang memebers. All this tells us one thing....leadership is absent in Louisville and is priceless.

This barely made the news. Now imagine if 10 gangsters or 10 guys wearing Trump hats fired 200 rounds into the ground at Cherokee Park next to the rich people. The county would be under martial law right now with headlines of INSURRECTION! and AK-47's MUST BE BANNED NOW!

The people running this town don't even care a little bit. Some crocodile tears when they need the black vote is about all you will see. The true suckers keep voting them in expecting a different result like any idiot does.

It was nice of them to step outside their air conditioned offices to make an arrest of someone who actually possessed a firearm. One day they might even try to arrest a career felon street criminal or one of the rioters trying to burn the city down. Those fake TV shows could motivate them.

This story is trending as it is covered in the national media. Leftist politicians, media personalities and citizen activists are all calling for Officer Evans to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If he had only had the foresight to merely shoot and kill an unarmed protester for trespassing while wearing a MAGA hat, no one would even care enough to ask for his name.

It's odd how this woman, a supposed advocate for black people, never opens her mouth about the 150 black people murdered each year. She appears to only have something to say about criminal justice when police interfere with her ability to break a law.

Cities that decriminalized rioting, public harassment and destruction of property since last year are quickly losing their working taxpaying populations.

All of the charges against her were dropped by her fellow democrat politician. A guy, who along with the judges and commonwealth attorney, have allowed Louisville to be turned into an extremely dangerous city. This used to be a nice place to live. Now 15 year olds get shot every week. All their blood is on the hands of virtue signalling democrats who have neutered law enforcement in this city.

What will do-nothings in the courts and the angry ghettofied pro-criminal activists do when there's no taxpayers around anymore to finance their lives of leisure?

BLM people, like the misguided fool who wrote this article, believe police departments should be disbanded. They aren't comprehending that crime is up because they and the democrats have curtailed or ended proactive policing to avoid controversy. BLM radicals are a minority of the population according to every legitimate poll done on the topic of defunding police, but have an outsized amount of control over the high-crime cities democrats currently run.

Greg Fischer's administration acting in conjunction with the Obama Administration and now Biden is who put Louisville on the path to hell. There's probably no turning back for this city or any of the other cities democrats run unless states begin stepping in.

We have Republicans running the state legislature who have been reluctant to even pass a bill allowing for creation of new cities or small city annexations in Jefferson County. They continue to allow KSP to remain a skeleton crew of highway patrol officers, when they should be taking charge in those areas of enforcement that the Metro Chief and Mayor have been derelict in. You have to lead by example, not from a podium or a meeting in Frankfort.

It's high time for them to get moving on fixing Louisville, because Louisville's not ever going to fix itself. The alternative is they can kiss the tax revenues their people rely on goodbye as Louisville's businesses, taxpayers and police officers move to relatively safe and peaceful southern Indiana.

Over 98 murders already with nearly 2weeks left in June. 21 murders in June and 3 on father's day. The dominant number in the West end amongst the African American community. Imagine the fear for most people in the community. But...no BLM to be found protesting the crime and murder rampaging in the city. No metro council marching or mayor walking? All the while they want to put more money into law enforcement but in programs not the departmemt. Hey BLM, council and Mayor how is that working out? Heck our chief can do another podcast that will stop it. Or BLM can hold another fundraiser to stop the violence, oh darn they need to buy a few more houses since none of the local leaders even live in or near downtown louisville. Sad sad sad

Algonquin Pool vandalism has deeper meaning, neighbors say"They opened up the fence and took some chairs and did some really bad things," Chanelle Helm, a longtime neighbor, said. "Well of course, what else do they have going on?"

According to Helm, there aren't enough resources and programs available for kids in west Louisville. She wants to see upgrades made, starting with the pool, which she said looks the same as it did when she was a child.

Are you kidding me????? Chanelle Helm explains away the vandalism as what else do they have going on. Give me a break. Spend the money updgrade the pool all you want, but quit giving the excuse of what else do vandals have going on. How about act right, respect public property and parents/guardians don't let your kids out that late at night. There is absolutely no excuse for vandalizing the pool, but it happens all the time. Her response is indicative of the attitude she and many lay out as an example for our children. Oh it's okay that you trashed someone else's property or a pool in our community that everyone uses. You just didn't have anything else to do at 2am in the morning so it is okay.

Whoever in the Chief's office or PSU responsible for suspending him and then leaking it all to the media should be fired. This was obviously an attempt to placate vocal left wing activists having influence in the Mayor's office by violating this officer's civil rights. They're lucky that someone somewhere, probably at the county attorney's office not LMPD, informed them they would be paying out some giant lawsuit settlement if they proceeded forward.

What she says about potentially cutting detective spots has already happened and has been happening since the days of Chief White. Conrad wrecked the units proactive enforcement with his multiple re-organizations pushing experienced detectives to retire at 20 years. He and Fischer viewed proactive enforcement as leading to too many run-ins and activist animosity. West end ministers and virtually all the others appointing themselves as the spokespeople of the black community consistently said they wanted fewer stops and arrests. They got the state to empty out the prisons of so-called non-violent inmates because incarcerating black felons was "racist".

What none of these people understand is that if police aren't arresting violent people when they do non-violent things, then they are free to do violence. They will never figure out a solution because they lack a basic understanding of the problem.

A few years ago, you could read predictions on this site about how Louisville was headed to 180 homicides per year. I am now predicting we will reach 230 homicides in the next 2 years. The only thing that might prevent that is a new Mayor appointing a new command staff capable of running LMPD a lot more like the former LPD.

There's not a single idea being proposed that might work to reduce homicide. Drug dealing teens aren't impressed by low wage jobs. They want $1000-$2000 per week like they make dealing drugs. They don't like manual labor either. Better make it an easy job. The better option is to teach them they will spend 5-10 years in prison at a time if they want to live the life of a gangster.

LMPD asked for $188 million, which it got despite the de-fund the police people trying to cut the budget. If you look at the detailed budget you can see some unexplained differences from the last budget.

***11% increase for patrol bureau, 14% increase for the support bureau and a 28% INCREASE FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE BUREAU. This clearly shows the lack of priorities among LMPD command. This Chief didn't write the budget but I didn't see her making any changes. Nobody in Louisville is running out of paperwork. They're getting murdered and robbed.

***28% more money for salaries, but no chance in h3ll they can hire that many new officers. They can't even fill an entire academy class.

***Less KLEPF, health insurance and workmans comp money. If you have 28% more police salaries, meaning a lot more employees, how do you decrease those?

***Less overtime money, while murders and other felony crimes are increasing at an accelerating rate

***Unlike previous years, nothing at all in the budget for step increment pay, holiday pay, vacation, sick leave, military leave, funeral leave, jury duty, personal day, clothing, equipment, retroactive pay, or health insurance reimbursement

***Nothing for tuition reimbursement, while they still pretend they care about people being educated.

***Professional services went from $669,800 to $4,606,700. That many old buddies to hire as "experts" from Atlanta or that much for outside lawyers to defend against lawsuits?

***Out of town travel went from $1100 to $250,000. Is that the conferences to talk about spreading diversity with rainbow colored police SUVs? Sending officers to guard the Mayor as he hits the public speaking circuit to seek out his next job?

David James tried to give LMPD more money for overtime but the chief told him she couldn't use it because there aren't enough officers. The usual pro-BLM police-haters on the metro council wanted to vote it down. At least some of them care about the past and future murder victims. The rest are racebaiters and demagogues who have little to say as both adults and children get murdered by criminals in their own neighborhoods.

You can't blame the east end rich democrats that Fischer represents for not caring about the murders when they continue to elect people like that to represent them.

The one thing the council could do is send money to the Sheriffs office, KSP, small cities and other agencies that don't have a hard time hiring people, who could take over some of LMPD's responsibilities to let LMPD concentrate their efforts on violent street criminals.

A testy back-and-forth broke out between Gentry and Thomas Clay, Jaynes' attorney. Clay repeatedly questioned Gentry about whether Jaynes' firing was politically motivated.

"Do you have any information that Mayor Fischer made a statement before the PSU investigation was concluded that he wanted these officers fired?" Clay asked, to which Gentry replied, "No."

It devolved to the point where Clay said, "I wish you would have followed the law when you decided to terminate him. If you want to rock and roll, let's rock and roll."

- T. Clay would not have asked these questions if he did not already know the answers.

Yvette appears to believe this was a woman who picked the wrong boyfriend. No, Yvette, it was a woman who continued "holding the money" for a drug dealer, even after hearing a few years prior from LMPD Homicide at 5:30am one morning that a drug dealer's dead body was found in a car she rented.

The problem with the west end is nobody holds anyone responsible for anything they do. Despite what Tupac said, the thug life doesn't pick you, you pick the thug life. The

He's right that officers need to be able to fight and win without relying on anything on their belt, but it could be a number of different martial arts. The department won't spend anything on this because they support a pro-criminal platform. They will gladly waste millions on the same old useless social welfare programs that never did anything for anyone but keep a large percentage of blacks living in the hood and revolving through the justice system. That's how our legal community of 95% democrats make the big money.

Why put violent felons in prison when you can turn all of society into a prison?

Soooo glad the Mayors plan to reduce violence is working. The podcasts our Chief does is really making a difference. We will be the safest city in America in no time. Oh wait, we were doing pretty good up until this Mayor got here.
