If being fired upon first and struck by a bullet is not enough justification to return gunfire, then what is? "De-escalation tactics", you can't be serious? That option was off the table as soon as that lowlife fired a gun at the officers. Everybody knows that it takes longer than a split second reaction to actually employ de-escalation tactics. Whoever made that finding and conclusion should follow his own opinion the next time he goes through the FTC shoot-house and see how well that works out
