Crump tried to lay it out right before he took Metro's money and went home. At least now he can afford to buy a house right next door to the 3 mansions the BLM founder bought with the donations of virtue signalling rich white democrats.

There have been democrat donor business guys grifting off the poverty programs since they began. They get a property for free or very cheap from the city. The city lends them money to re-develop the property into single family or multi family housing. Then they rent it out to section 8 and don't even usually repay the loan. They do something similar with commercial properties, except with those they rent them out to someone getting government money like a non-profit or a company with a poverty program contract like medicaid.

The easiest way for the city to get free properties is to condemn them either for being abandoned or being a drug house. You can safely assume that if 2 command staff were down there, then the Mayor must have taken a personal interest in that deal instead of just his lackeys.
