Two officers fired by Police Chief Erika Shields over Atlanta tasing are reinstated

Only about 19% of registered voters put Fischer into office. That's a mix of hard core democrats and people they take to the polls in exchange for PB&J sandwiches.

The 81% have always been to apathetic or self-centered to show up outside of a Presidential election year. Maybe that will change knowing the city is about to go from bad to worse.

The only real chance a Republican has of winning here is if they're a female moderate Republican. A few won county-wide offices in the past. They would be better off pretending to be Democrat and spending their time convincing Republicans to switch sides for that year to vote them in.

In the old days you could find a few good democrats, but the ones nowadays are either old as the hills good-old-boys like our Sheriff, manipulative lying upper class types like the mainstream democrats and most others or radical leftists wanting to tear American society down to the ground. The moderate Christian white democrats of this state have all gone Republican since the 1980s and 90s.
