Two officers fired by Police Chief Erika Shields over Atlanta tasing are reinstated

People ask me all the time why police don't arrest the rioters and BLM harassing the public. I don't have an answer for them, except don't ever go downtown. Once the business people figure out that nobody wants to work or go downtown for any reason, they will use their power and money to change who's in charge. Until that happens, let downtown become the next downtown Detroit. The suburbs can handle the BLM better. There are plenty of small cities who don't obstruct their police in locking them up.

Since the start of the new year---

New York City, population 8.5 MILLION - 68 homicides Year To Date.

Louisville Kentucky, population 780,000 - 43 homicides Year To Date.

For a city with 9 times as many people, they've had only a couple dozen more murders than Louisville. Very sad. Louisville's 2021 homicide numbers are already way ahead of other medium to large cities like Milwaukee, Portland OR, Seattle, and Minneapolis. Maybe it's time for our mayor to stop making excuses and finally decide to support law and order for a change.
