Police chief's criticism casts doubt on Metro Council plan to restrict LMPD's use of force

"You absolutely cannot put all officers in the same light of a few bad cops."

Yeah, I can. Heres why.

Not every cop commits an overtly criminal act, but the ones who do, have zero apprehension of doing so. They know that all those other cops who might not have done the same thing, wont say a goddamn thing about the ones that do.

Ill bring up yet again, James Adams and Chris Baker. Had they not been cops, theyd be in jail just like the MSD driver who killed a cop. Theyre cops who killed innocent civilians because of their criminally reckless driving, and yet they didnt even get a speeding ticket.

Not one single cop is willing to speak out against that fact. Not one. You dont speak out against it, youre just as much a part of it as the ones who commit the act.

And cop buys groceries for somebody is a news article? Do you have any idea how many people do things to help others out of kindness but dont get a news story about it? This isnt exemplary or unique to cops, this is part of the ******** propaganda machine that seeks to excuse all the **** Ive talked about above, and theres plenty more of it that isnt discussed
