Most of the department is too wet behind the ears to know it's impossible to get fired, or stay fired, for making a legal arrest even if you are directed not to make an arrest. They aren't legally allowed to instruct you not to make an arrest. It's called obstructing governmental operations.

Just because the temporary-hire chief or the ex-FBI Fischer sock puppet imply you should kiss BLMs *** doesn't mean you are required to let them walk when they commit a crime. These people have managed through intimidation since White was chief. If you call them on their bluff and let them try to discipline or fire you for enforcing the law, they lose every single time. Eventually all these new people will learn what the real rules are and quit being scared of them.

"If you lack the nerve to do the job as the law requires..."

Kinda like cops whop refuse to hold other cops accountable to the law, right?
