Antifa is no different from the Weather Underground or other anarcho-communist groups of the past, including the ones who waged a bombing campaign about a century ago that led to the creation of the FBI. It's not surprising they think that. Their top leaders didn't believe Al Qaida was a major threat until September 11, 2001.
