So if you're implying that Walker knew what he was shooting at (a police officer), then he should've never pulled the trigger. You can't have it both ways. The Castle Doctrine Law is a good thing, I'm glad that Kentucky has it. But the Castle Doctrine Law DOES NOT include using lethal force against police officers while in the performance of their lawful duties. That's actually one of the exceptions in the statute.
