Wow, what a mess. I'm glad I can sit back and watch it unfold from my easy chair, with the exception of jury duty. We are reaching a point in society where the elements of law are far less important than the preservation of order in society. In deciding the verdict, it will be up to the jury to weigh the big picture alongside the little picture the lawyers are worried about.
