Violence will continue to blow up not just because of the present climate but because no one in the front officer has a clue about real police work or the stomach to do it. We add in a complete crew of Metro council members who are scared to do ****. Investigating the Mayor instead of firing him is a joke yet they are trying to deflect to other b.s. They are all complicit in the demise of a potentially good city. Stay away from downtown for sure. It will never be a destination again for anything good.

A lot of people have always supported law enforcement, including me. When I thank a police officer for their service, which I do every time I see one, I mean it...100%. Logical, intelligent, realistic people know how important law enforcement is. We need you. Period. Be safe. Thank you! 100%!

The general public should not be confused for the scum doing the riots and threatening to burn the city down. The general public is livid right now except for a few neighborhoods near the Mayor full of aloof rich people, aging hippie "wymyn" with multi-colored hair and the usual angry ghettos where the gangs are their version of Boy Scouts.

Politicians get tunnel vision whenever someone shows up to scream their demands for a liberal cause. They assume they speak for the masses. They speak for a minority of people, many of whom should be either in prison or a mental asylum.

Ignore them all, ignore the Mayor, and lock them up when you can. If some terrorist group shows up to burn down the city, pull out the heavy guns and go to work. Being police isn't necessarily about being nice to people. Sometime it must be about putting very bad people 6 feet under the ground. This is the job. Anyone who can't handle that should move on to something else.
