Ask yourself how a teen ends up shooting someone with a gun? If it's not a robbery, then it's almost certainly a gang-related shooting, including the personal disputes. All these teen shooters are in gangs directed by adults but nobody wants to admit that in this city. Not the activists. Not the preachers. Not the parents, if they're even around. Not the politicians. Not LMPD. Not the federal agencies.

Nobody wants to call them a gang, in part, because they don't report to some national gang headquarters. That's not how gangs necessarily work anymore, people. They're fragmented. Gang cliques operate independently and sell dope brought to them by Latin American drug trafficking organizations. They have temporary alliances, and unapproved wars with other gangs that never used to happen in the past. They are a lot more prone to spontaneous acts of senseless violence, unlike the old gangs that knew who they wanted to kill and usually had a clear motive.

Letting these gangs continue to operate is leading to a lot of unnecessary deaths. The neighborhoods they're in are to blame because they cover for them and don't tell police anything if they're involved in a crime. Chris 2-X should talk about that one day.

It may be politically incorrect to say this, but Louisville's gang cliques and other dope dealers receive most of their drugs from illegal alien Mexican nationals working for Mexican drug cartels. They're out there killing each other for the power to sell this dope in different parts of town. Not all immigration is a good thing, especially when they're smuggling tons of drugs. The Courier Journal reported it but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone in charge
