Metro Council pouring millions more in taxpayer dollars down the same rathole they and the Board of Aldermen have been pouring down since the 1960s without any results. In that time, the west end has gone from not so great to bad to horrible to become one of the top 10 most dangerous places in America. They lost their shopping district on 28th Street in the late 1960s thanks to riots, burglaries and vandalism. Now it's a literal shooting gallery for street gangs nobody wants to acknowledge exist.
