Bevin lost only due to low Republican turnout not Democrat votes. The FOP was a major part of why he lost. Cameron got way more votes than Beshear for an office few people usually care as much about as Governor. If Cameron runs against him, Beshear knows his political career is over. He is probably hoping he runs for higher office like the Senate or goes back into law practice for money.

Regardless, the FOP officers have no business endorsing anyone for any office unless there's a vote of members to back it up. They are going well beyond their legitimate powers in doing so. It's been tolerated in the past but now it needs to stop since much the country is going insane due to politics. Leftist middle class white kids attack black officers in the name of anti-racism. Mayors allow their political base to burn down their city.

I understand why Beshear and the Democrats favor the public school teacher unions. They are a big part of why so many youth are radical leftists, if not insane. Public schools are nothing but indoctrination centers for the left. Look at how many come out of there with little understanding of math, science or even English, but can easily recite and rant about all the left wing political views you see on MSNBC.
