Officer departures dominate LMPD budget hearing

There are a lot of people in this county who see a problem with a bad police shooting as much as they see a problem with criminals destroying the city. It's called morality. Some people still have it. The 10 commandments matters more than woke virtue signals, twitter, MSNBC, CNN, Foxnews or even an FOP symbol on your license plate. Don't kill, steal or otherwise harm people except in self defense. Don't lie just because you can get away with it. These kinds of rules can disqualify you from politics but they qualify you for being a decent human being who won't spend eternity in hell.

If thugs start taking pot shots at police like some say they will, it will most likely be a civilian who puts them down.

There are far more armed honest civilians than police right now in some parts of town. They know from watching the TV coverage that law enforcement has abandoned most of the city. God help the sons of b1tchez who think they're going to set their houses on fire. They had better get their affairs in order before getting in that trash-filled stolen car for their last ride.
