Officer departures dominate LMPD budget hearing

A division of inexperienced officers backed up on runs and trained to minimize time on a scene, who think their policing instincts work a lot better than they do, and lacking any meaningful supervision until it's time to fill out a form, which they failed to do. The whole department has been laying down since shortly after Robert White became chief to start the mass demoralization, so few on the department today really know what they're doing when action is required.

Sgt, Lt and Major all back at the office doing useless paperwork for civilians and a Chief who thinks any of it matters. Most of them are inexperienced at their jobs too or aren't any good at them. They all wish they had their 20 so they could leave although they fake it for the chief to keep their positions.
