A no-knock search warrant doesn't always equate to a high-risk warrant service. Especially if it's merely to prevent the destruction of evidence, for example. The fact that officers already had another suspect in custody doesn't negate the fact that there was still a valid search warrant for that specific location with the other suspects named on the search warrant.

"Everyone above them to the Chief should be suspended. All of them failed to properly supervise the officers when they got a no knock warrant and failed to call it off when other officers arrested the suspect they were seeking"

You've clearly never done police work before. You can serve a search warrant even if one of your targets has been arrested at another location. The warrant was for evidence. It clearly stated that the location was known to house narcotics. Any judge would sign off for a warrant like this with enough probably cause AND with a target already being in custody. That's like arresting the drug dealer after leaving his house and then ignoring the house and not going to get the evidence. Dumb. You, just like most people trying to race-bait the incident, don't know what you're talking about.

You all can go back and forth all day long on this tragedy. Bottom line is nothing happens to the Mayor or Chief as usual. What does happen at a minimum and is a tragedy as well more than likely. Everyone to probably include the Major or at a minimum direct lieutenant down are gonna get served up by the Mayor and Chief. Careers over because the end game was a tragedy that many will point to. Was not about race and those that say otherwise are foolish. Was about protecting a community against drugs, and at the same time letting the risk outweigh the actual reward. Sorry, but people are going to get served up in this one. A life was lost a cop was shot all in the name of protecting and serving. A tragedy all the way around that will not be settled ever, but a consolation to restore a communities trust is going to be put on the table with all those involved. All of you know that and if you refuse to see that you are hiding behind the blurs in between the sentences on the pages of the law.
