Two more LMPD officers test positive for COVID-19, chief says

The mayor has made it difficult to be a cop in this town. He doesn't want us to aggressively enforce the law against known criminals in the worst parts of Louisville, yet he wants us to openly track and intimidate church-goers who have already stated that they'll remain inside their vehicles and follow all CDC guidelines. It seems like there would be a very minimal risk, if any? The mayor's idea is unproductive and unnecessary. It's definitely not worth putting the police department at odds with the people who most likely support us for the most part. LMPD already has a public perception disaster to deal with, so let's not throw more gasoline on the fire. We need all the support we can get from good law abiding citizens.
