46 more officers bail from LMPD in last 2 months

Our democrat politicians seem to believe that by decriminalizing something, it will just magically make the problem go away. I remember when DARE and elementary schools used to preach to the kids that marijuana is the gateway drug, but now our city leaders are sending the wrong message to children... if you get caught with it, that's okay, nothing is going to happen to you, no legal consequences. The police department used to emphasize the broken windows theory, enforcing the law against the smaller crimes before things get out of control and escalate into bigger problems. Now they just want us to be hands off on everything, because we might hurt somebody's feelings. Will the murder rate have to climb above 200 a year and the overdose deaths to surpass 1000 a year, before it finally gets the attention of the mayor and police chief? Let the police do their job, the results may surprise you.
