Whether its B.S. from Stewart or not, this officer's actions proves that you don't have to shoot someone 11 or 12 times and that you can shoot them in the leg or somewhere else to stop them or slow them down enough to arrest them and possibly get them the help they need. Kudos to the officer for showing lots of courage and compassion. We need more officers like this on the LMPD force.

LETS SEE. A PERSON IS STUPID, STUPID PULLED KNIFE AND TRIED TO KILL, STUPID IS SHOT IN LEG, STUPID WILL SUE FOR DAMAGES. WIN A MILLION DOLLARS, = A CRAP LOAD OF MORE DRUGS AND STUPID THINGS IN LOUISVILLE. OFFICER SHOULD HAVE STUCK TO TRAINING AND KILLED STUPID..
