Citing budget cuts, LMPD will no longer provide crossing guards to some Louisville schools

It's the same story in most of the woke progressive cities like Loserville. Law enforcement is completely politicized, including the federal agencies. The DEA won't mention the word cartel in Louisville like they do in other places. All politics.

When they're not threatening republican senators, the permanently underemployed millennial democrat base is often seen walking around chanting "all cops are bastards" or "no borders, no wall, no USA at all"

Spineless politicians like Fischer and numerous other weak kneed Mayors try to cater to them by neutering or talking down to law enforcement and banning historical monuments. They hire political chiefs and command staff who never would have made it in a department that values competency. They're all too willing to watch the city go down the toilet, so long as they have the job title and the salary. Few of them ever retire here, so they need not worry about the mess they'll leave behind.
