Citing budget cuts, LMPD will no longer provide crossing guards to some Louisville schools

Agree, this has gotten totally out of control. The lack of leadership by the Chief his recent chosen staff and the Mayor is disgusting and downright dangerous for us the officers and the community. The cheap political stunt by the Mayor and chief to pull the crossing guards is obvious. Using it as pressure to get support to raise taxes. They forget Jtown and other small cities already pay a hefty sum into the city coffers and get a tenth of the services in return. All because this mayor has pissed away a ton of taxpayer money the past 8 years and put us in the bond we are now. Pathetic
