New LMPD traffic stop policy seeks to improve 'perception of bias' |
RE: New LMPD traffic stop policy seeks to improve 'perception...
Exactly right. No Harper's or McCubbins who lead from the front and on the streets anywhere in this dept anymore.watched Harper literally do the police work on the streets with us, back is up, cancel us on runs, drive the booking van, and knew exactly what we needed and were going through. He also backed us at every turn when we were right. Oh, forgot though he told the Mayor and chief what they were doing was a bad idea so we know how that ended. McKinnon the same kind of guy. Knows what it means and what we go through . But neither he or Harper type of leaders are on this dept which means we are screwed until we get a mayor that knows what leadership is.

The leadership will have to come from the Lts and Sgts. Besides the politicized Majors, the Chief, Mayor and council simply aren't leaders. They're weak politicians who go wherever they're told by big mouth radical activists. They're followers pretending to be leaders. Like the guy at the head of the mob taking his cues from the shouting. They don't see how they're driving tax paying people out of the county by making Louisville unsafe, especially the schools.
The visible apathy by demoralized experienced people is also a cue to new officers to seek employment elsewhere.
