Metro Council votes down plan for tax increases, must now go through budget to find millions to cut

Nobody likes to see how sausage is made... it's not pretty. Policing is the same way. Sometimes, it ain't pretty but the job has to get done. If residents want a reduction in violent crime then you are going to see stops for minor infractions that normally wouldn't garner the attention of a police officer on patrol. That's how guns, drugs, bad guys, etc... are taken off the street. A small infraction stop leads to bigger things. If West Ender minorities like living in a neighborhood with chalk outlines of their dead family and friends drawn on the sidewalks, have at it. I don't live there and personally couldn't give a crap. Spare me the video of screaming, whining, whaling "family" and friends of shooting victims in the West End. They say they want the violence to end but complain about the people who are trying to stop it.
