LMPD chief launches internal investigation after video of violent confrontation surfaces

After reviewing body camera footage, LMPD Police Chief Steve Conrad has launched an investigation led by LMPD's Professional Standards Unit.

Criminals go where the money, loot and addict customers live. They see the east and south end as prime territory. Theres a lot of cheap or subsidized places to live outside the "ghetto" now.

The old days of there being only a few higher crime areas, which really werent even bad compared to today, are ending if not over now. The home invasions and shhotings have made their way to the $200,000 house neighborhoods. In a few years, if the pattern continues, it will be in the million dollar house neighborhoods too. I sm surprised it hasn't already been happening.

Once again, no minority down there had an Obama phone to record the shooting as it happened? Nobody taped the get away vehicle fleeing the scene? Unbelievable. Now if it was a police officer trying to arrest a thug drug dealer yelling and screaming for his mommy, there would be video out the as*. Guess you have to have priorities.
