After reviewing body camera footage, LMPD Police Chief Steve Conrad has launched an investigation led by LMPD's Professional Standards Unit.

Nobody cares. Same old narrative... police bad, poor minority thug drug dealer "victim" good. Same old ten protestors getting their five minutes of face time on the compliant news demanding release of bodycam video. Why? Even with video that supports the police, these same anti police racist activists will dismiss it. They see everything through their "hate the police" glasses and no amount of evidence will be enough for them. I see the poor victim has his Sam Aguilar neck brace on. Was just on his way to bible study and was going to school to be a veterinarian.

That's how office po-po and the east end DUI patrol think. There's this thing called pretext that you use on high crime beats to initiate a stop with career criminals. It's not that hard. You just have to be taught how to police properly and not be too cowardly to do so.
