100% agree. Say what you want about the "Grey Gods" but they have been wearing the same uniform since 1948 and are by far the most respected and revered law enforcement agency in the state. I have said it a million times, respect starts at home. Respect yourselves and others will follow. Stay safe and God bless.

People don't like seeing poor grooming, but that's probably 5% of the problem. The majority of the problem is a liberal anti-police pop culture and politicians like Obama who joined the chorus of anti-police sentiment during his term in office. Triggered crazy liberals have moved on to bashing old white men and Trump and calling everyone who doesn't look like them "RAAAAAAAACIIIIST" on social media. Police will be back to #1 on their slander list once Trump's out of office.

LMPD has also lost a lot of respect beyond what normal police encounter thanks to the numerous scandals, incompetence, cover-ups and lies of the Conrad-Fischer administration. I couldn't really blame those people in the Highlands and Churchill Downs neighborhoods for complaining about how crime went up because police didn't do anything there, because they weren't. They were being lazy worthless turds as was promoted by command. You don't get respect doing that and never will. Not even from the activists.
