Judge denies request to reinstate rank of LMPD lieutenant who sued city

Several hours before Cosby was stopped on Saturday he was leading a conference on church activism at the bible school he runs. Mayor Fischer was there with Jesse Jackson. After a full day of talking about the injustices inflicted on black people by government, he gets stopped by the police for a minor traffic violation. It doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together as to what his or Fischer's motives are.

I'm sure in their minds on some level they think they're justified in automatically labeling this as profiling but it doesn't make them correct. It makes them disconnected from the realities of a west end that's turned into a gangland warzone despite their empty rhetoric. The vast majority of regular people don't care about their high minded racebaiting talk because people are being shot dead outside their homes in the streets every week. Cosby being inconvenienced is a minor price to pay if it means officers can pull guns out of another car later on. The do-gooders never understand that.
