It gets a yawn because it's more of the same. Kentucky is a backwards state with poor unskilled detectives and prosecutors alike. The laws are weak. The prisons are overcrowded because they're too cheap to build more. Murderers gun victims down in broad daylight in public places but no witnesses talk. Serial rapists like Cano can rape half a dozen women without even being indicted. Pedophile officers escape justice until there are too many victims for corrupt traitors to their oath to silence. Idiots even roam around shooting dogs with bows and arrows for no reason. The police have no pension which shows how little the people care about law and order.

It would take the citizens deciding they want law and order not the anarchy beneath the thin facade of order that we have today. They'd have to vote in an entirely new set of people who'd appoint an entire different set of police command, judges, and prosecutors. Don't hold your breath. It's a lot easier to relocate to a better county across the river.
