It was more competent than LMPD is today in the years that Dotson and Smith ran it. It was extremely corrupt in the decades prior to Dotson and run like a sneak preview of LMPD in the Abramson and Hamilton years. JCPD had far better Chiefs other than Dotson and Smith which made it a better department for the most part.

Crime was low in the old county. People used to assume it was a just natural and nothing to do with JCPD. Now we know from LMPD that being passive cucks like command wants drives crime up even in the old county.

Is that why so many of their homicide convictions have been overturned?

LPD,LPD. I'm really tired of hearing about how great LPD was before merger and how bad JCPD was in your rants. We had less crime in the county a better contract than you ever did and command that would actually make roll call and talk to you about problems. I was part of JCPD and LMPD which the latter was ran like old LPD and I for one can tell you LMPD can't compare to it. Now go ahead keep running your mouth about how great it was to work for Abramson who ran LPD.
