Giving him $300,000 means they probably took some out because he's past retirement age and could have retired as a Major. I doubt Conrad or Fischer see it as a win for them. Conrad's now on notice he can't fire people for any reason he feels, just like he was put on notice he can't lateral people for any reason he feels in the Morgan case.
