Add to that the media's desire to promote Trump over all the other 15 or so Republican nominees. Trump was seen by the media mafia as a clown, a joke, an oddity, somebody to laugh and sneer at, somebody to make fun of all in their attempt to help him get the nomination because he was seen by them as the easiest for queen Hillary to beat.
