Metro Council president accused of colluding in lawsuit against the city

They had a witness who figured he lost $340,000 in earnings from the demotion. Giving him $300,000 means they probably took some out because he's past retirement age and could have retired as a Major.

I doubt Conrad or Fischer see it as a win for them. Conrad's now on notice he can't fire people for any reason he feels, just like he was put on notice he can't lateral people for any reason he feels in the Morgan case. Too bad city taxpayers are the ones paying for those lessons.

No matter the dollar amount, it goes down as a judgement against the actions of the City... the Chief and the Mayor in particular.
