LMPD releases body cam footage after suspect shot by police near Breckenridge Lane

Rodman was sober.

The defendant was high on heroin and cocaine. His BAC was 0.26. He drove through a red light at 50mph over the limit while fleeing police pursuing him for multiple felonies, into a police car with emergency lights on. He had a gun, cocaine packaged for sale and scales in his car. He also struck a pedestrian before that, causing him to go to the hospital with brain bleeding. Before that, he punched his wife several times in the face and hit her hand with his gun. He fired several shots when bystanders tried to stop him.

There's a big difference between that and accidentally striking someone in a civilian passenger car who turned in front of you.
