You will never get competent judges when they started out as social workers. There should be a school they have to attend to be certified. They should be required to complete testing on competence and ethical standards. Case in point would be the one who disregarded a DUI check point with their kids in the car after flashing their credentials, no one pursued and the LMPD command came to have a chat with them the next day...
