You're talking to me as if I'm you. Do you talk to yourself a lot? I've got over 20, have never been successfully sued and have been in multiple armed encounters. I chose to go after the high impact positions rather than write tickets, do DUI stops or sit in some easy money office spot off the street dispensing coffee to freeloaders for the major on demand like a f--king Keurig machine. That rant sounds like you've got some resentment towards young officers whose pace is a little faster than yours. Get over it.

The fact the 2 officers were only removed from SWAT shows the department isn't so confident in their allegations. They're now being shamed in the national media like they should be. I hope this serves as a lesson for other weaselboys in command who'd do the same to their own officers. Their SWAT commander had them stand by at a training event rather than go to the scene because Broward didn't ask. Both the little city SWAT team commander and Broward's scene commander failed to recognize this was a shooter on the loose, not a barricaded subject. You don't stage off scene when the shooter could be out on public streets, which he was. If that PD can charge those officers with failing to notify of their location or posting negative comments to social media, then the SWAT team COs should be charged with failing to provide competent direction during a crisis, just like Broward's CO at the scene. They all failed miserably that day. It's fortunate that some individual Broward officers and other neigboring departments took appropriate action despite them.
