LMPD officer's wife dead from flu, remembered as giving, loving mother

Their Sheriff did a good act of being pious and pointing fingers at the NRA on CNN, until a few hours later when he admitted he had a coward deputy who hid instead of shooting the mass shooter at the school. He also forgot to mention he got multiple tips from relatives of the shooter that the guy was a violent maniac who'd probably shoot up a school. A few years ago they intentionally restricted their officers' ability to arrest high school students due to liberal politics.

Another prime example of what happens when you put a "we can't arrest our way out of this problem" type in charge of a department. Lots more people die unnecessarily at the hands of criminals and maniacs.
