This assassination-style murder reads like something straight out of Juarez, Mexico.

It's a good thing that PIO's media friends are playing ball by keeping the story low key, otherwise citizens might start to get concerned. Keep them in the dark, feed them like mushrooms and have special events to keep the masses happy. The Fischer formula.

So the 9th mobile flex cure-all unit is going to have to work not only in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and the 3rd? Man, the chief should give them more bodies. It's a good thing they don't, as their Major Hibbs put it, "don't do narcotics investigations." Truly turning the tide of violent crime in Metro Louisville. It's great to see that unit, a high visibility, high impact unit, being utilized as the chief and a few other puzzle palace geniuses envisioned it would work. 21 days in to the year 2018 and we are at 9 or 10 homicides? Conrad, it and you just ain't working. Keep a death grip on your strategic plan to right the ship you call Metro Louisville, continue to listen to the "yes" men and women you have surrounded yourself with, most we're never real police, but they have it all figured out. Your 21st century, SPI supported policing plan is not keeping pace with what Louisville is seeing as far as crime. Maybe listen to other cops you have around you, switch your tactics, trying something different. Before all your civil and class action lawsuits force you out.
