Louisville reaches 100 homicides after man found shot in vacant home in Shelby Park |

LMPD's recent history of large lawsuit settlement payments, lost merit board hearings and criminal-officers allowed to resign without charges suggests the legal advice is lacking in competency. The way they have just dug deeper holes for themselves supports that too. It's hard to fire O'Connell but Sims should be replaced with outside counsel at a competent law firm. The city doesn't have enough money to be paying for all these settlements.

Didn't say he invented it Chum, said he was a part of the cronyism that the Conrad machine is built on. I give you he didn't invent it, bit beyond him, even with a juris doctorate(law degree) my friend. Can anyone explain how our legal advisor, in the role of advising on all things legal, failed to advise Conrad to pursue the Kenny Betts accusations? I guess in his legal, professional opinion, he felt, what the hell, there is all the markings of pedophilia grooming going on at LMPD and the explorer program, involving some tenured upper echelon command. It will just go away, as soon as Betts does. So he'll chief, I think we're good. One hell of a legal advisor. No he didn't invent it, but he sure as hell has perpetuated the absurd cycle of this place. Rock on LMPD. Guess he forgot to give legal advise of Lt.Hard Heart **** shot too???
