Explode is what is happening to them. Everything they have done to people and everything they failed to do is coming full circle. This attempt to keep the Chief out of the hot seat is another example of how spineless they all are plain and simple. They never expected someone to step up to call them for their bs. And doing it in an open forum with depositions and wanting to go into a courtroom with it too.
