RE: Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin releases plan he says will fix state...
Okay let me chime in here...
So much has been said about millennials' attitudes and how they refer to veteran officers as "RDO". The fact is millennial officers do not even think of veteran officers like you imagine. For starters, many of them are disappointed in what they signed up for. The controlled environment of the academy with the model facility and organization is a far cry from the unorganized divisions. These millennials are finding this job to be a huge disappointment. They have no moral support and no one appears interested in them or their careers. Whenever someone wants to make a derogatory comment about LMPD, they always feel the need to include the millennials to make their point as if the millennials are the ones destroying the department. The millennials can fairly take the blame for wrecking so many cars but anything other than that, the blame is sorely displaced!

Wesbecker blew his brains out with a Sig Sauer. What do you mean by taking care of business in that context?
Las Vegas PD took an hour to get into the shooters room and by then he was dead. Both situations would have been very different had either of these shooters decided to use every round against officers, or if there had been multiple shooters wanting only to die for "Allah" taking as many people as possible with them. Shotguns and pistols may be useful in some situations, but not when your opponent has an AK or AR.
