New LMPD policy: No working with immigration officials to enforce federal laws

Petty bureaucratic office-lovers usually play the political game best and rise to the top. They have a natural dislike for those on the front lines. They resent all the glory they were deprived in their earlier careers by those who made the good felony arrests. Nobody ever gave them enough credit for all the SOPs revisions they got approved or community events they arranged. They're always looking for a reason to put non-conformist good cops' butts in a sling to satisfy their long-time resentments.
