New LMPD policy: No working with immigration officials to enforce federal laws

It's a collection of people ****** motivated by making Assistant Chief one day by towing the party line and agenda that the Mayor's office hands the Chief. They are a living example why the metro council should abolish the rank of Major by ordinance and force Metro to go back to Captains promoted through the merit system. Captains can't be fired or demoted like Majors and aren't mere political pawns. All a Chief can do is shuffle them around. That's what kept Jerry Abramson from micromanaging the entire department. He could only micromanage Doug Hamilton and a few others, who could only replace a Captain with another Captain.

Judah is a fairly good motivator. He likes to tell war stories, and how he was so aggressive and a magnet for trouble, all while tapping his trauma plate and staring at the ceiling with his too-tight uniform and platform boots to get that extra inch of height to his little man frame. He's just hoping there's no one who's been on long enough to know he was merely a follower, a hanger-on, like that little dog in the cartoons: "Hey, spike, what do you want to do now, Spike? We could beat up some strays, Spike?" He is the epitome of little man syndrome. But a good story teller. I love story time. And shot spotter sucks, no matter how hard you try to sell it, little guy. Folks are fleeing him like the plague.
