LMPD Asst. Chief named Bardstown Police Chief

The only realistic hope this city has is that Fischer is forced out next year either in the primary or general election for Mayor.

If things get bad enough, the Metro Council could transfer operational command of LMPD to the Sheriff by amending Louisville ordinance 36.02. The Sheriff could be allowed to appoint a Chief Deputy who runs LMPD on a day-to-day basis. They wouldn't even have to merge the departments below the rank of Chief, but just redefine in a who LMPD's Chief is and how he's appointed. They can reorganize it any way they want since LMPD wouldn't exist if not for that ordinance.
