You must have gotten lost on the way to the Louisville, CO website. Here in Louisville, KY:

--The Yum Center's bonds were downgraded to Ba3 in 2015, which is a speculative "junk bond" rating. The arena isn't making the money they thought it would, and will be another $10 million per year in the hole starting in 2020. They asked Metro to come up with the money.

--LMPD is short 300 officers today, but the Chief won't admit it and the Mayor won't ask for the money. Their lack of concern about policing has contributed to homicides being 200% to 250% higher than historical levels. Louisville is now considered a dangerous city compared to similar sized cities.

--New LMPD officers make about 20% less than they did in 2003 due to raises not keeping up with inflation.

--Metro stopped paying Waterfront Park, who now wants to charge $3 to park your car there. They're refusing, so expect it to start looking as ratty as the high-grass weed-infested Metro Parks.

--Louisville Police Headquarters is infested with black mold and dangerous to people who work there. The Mayor decided their health isn't worth the cost of renting or buying a new building.

Better get back to sleeping in your car.
