Police say passerby may have saved life of LMPD officer attacked by homeless man |
RE: Police say passerby may have saved life of LMPD officer attacked...
The complaining will continue so long as this place is run the way it is. I know there are some new COs and Majors who honestly think it will blow over if everyone keeps a smiley face and spews downtown's viewpoints strongly enough. They're only fooling themselves. It's been going strong since 2003 when Bob White took over and started turning the department into what it is today. Steve C just delivered the final death blows to morale with all of his bad ideas.
I don't see the Mayor getting re-elected after all of the recent scandals. LPD and JCPD has a couple rapists and a molester spaced years apart. They never had a serial rapist with 6 victims and 2 serial pedophiles molesting explorers in the same timeframe. Downtown seems to think people forgot about it, but many interactions with the public indicates it is at the top of their minds. Maybe it will give the department a chance to clean house and right the ship before another 50,000 taxpayers flee across the county line.
