Police say passerby may have saved life of LMPD officer attacked by homeless man

Flex and Narcotics used to take care of business in that part of town on a regular basis. Flex is gone. The West End Flex, aka 9th Mobile, isn't ever out there. Narcotics is far less active now. I wonder what they and the federal agencies who use to make drug arrests do all day besides diversity events.
