Police say passerby may have saved life of LMPD officer attacked by homeless man

Louisville has always has thugs hanging on corners who'd like to kill other thugs hanging on corners, sometimes missing their target and hitting a child instead. Back then, LPD was getting out on people and frisking the known felons. Today people hide, lay down or are afraid to initiate because they'll probably get in trouble. The thugs know this, so now they carry weapons much more often than they used to so they're shooting people more often.

Policing isn't rocket science. It just requires a little deductive reasoning skill, coupled with the ability to tune out liberal political bulls--t about "stop and frink violatin' my rights!" that Conrad and most of his command staff lacks.
